Patio Furniture Manufacturing Equipment Appraisals
M&E Appraisal Associates, Inc. (“M&EAA”) provide certified patio furniture manufacturing equipment appraisals.
Greg Feinsinger, CMEA recently appraised the machinery & equipment of a patio furniture manufacturing company. The subject machinery & equipment included roll formers, coil steel stamping lines, hydraulic benders, OBI and gap bed stamping presses, metal cutting saws, mig/tig welders, a large capacity electrostatic powder coating line, and a substantial amount of proprietary welding jigs, stamping dies, die casting dies, and multiple cavity plastic injection molds.
Appraisal Conclusions: The appraisal was completed under the Fair Market Value – In Continued Use premise. The he standard metal working equipment was generally in good condition, and had varying degrees of market appeal and resultant value. The electrostatic powder coating line had extremely high value, due to the lines inherent installation features. The welding jigs, molds, and dies had high value under the continued use premise. This classification of assets would have low or no value under a removal value scenario.
