M&E Appraisal Associates, Inc. (“M&EAA”) provides certified automotive collision repair equipment appraisals. M&EAA recently appraised the machinery & equipment of an automotive collision repair facility.

The subject machinery & equipment appraised included large capacity paint prep and spray booths, frame machines, tire changers, wheel balancers, laser balancing equipment and systems, refrigerant recycling equipment, automotive lifts, welders, forklifts, and associated support equipment.

Appraisal conclusions: the subject equipment included a Garmat large capacity, multi section downdraft type prep/paint spray booth-system. Other higher value items included Chief, Blackjack and Brewco frame machines, Chief laser alignment equipment, Coats and John Bean tire changing and wheel balancing equipment, etc. The subject machinery & equipment was considered to be very standard for the industry, had reasonable secondary market demand and was observed to be in good condition. Resultantly the subject machinery & equipment had a favorable determination of Fair Market Value.
