M&E Appraisal Associates, Inc. (“M&EAA”) provide certified commercial laundry equipment appraisals. The president of M&EAA, Greg Feinsinger, recently appraised the machinery & equipment of a commercial laundry.

The subject commercial laundry machinery & equipment included batch tunnel washing systems, washer/extractors, dryers, tumblers, spreader/feeders, ironers, folders, stackers, conveyors, lifts, boilers, etc.

Appraisal conclusions: the subject machinery & equipment was valued on a desktop basis, and was not observed by the appraiser. A majority of the subject machinery & equipment was manufactured by a single domestic original equipment manufacturer (“OEM”). These items were stated to be maintained under an annual maintenance program, and in very good condition for their stated age. Other subject items were determined to also be in good condition based on information from their respective OEM’s. After conducting further market research, the conclusions for all subject items were favorable, with limited exceptions.
